Senior - Boarding & Pastoral

At Taunton School International we place a great deal of emphasis on providing excellent pastoral care, with our supportive and caring staff available 24 hours a day.  We want to help students to adjust to boarding school life in a small, safe and friendly environment.

Students live in comfortable boarding houses on campus and are cared for by friendly and dedicated staff. 

Bedrooms are usually allocated on an age basis with the older students having their own single study bedroom and the younger students sharing in mixed nationality bedrooms. The bedrooms are comfortable and well equipped.

The school provides three hot meals a day for students in Taunton School’s dining room. The food is offered as a buffet selection and includes fresh vegetables, fruit and desserts. There is plenty of choice so all diets are catered for.

There is a Health Centre on Taunton School’s campus which provides 24 hour medical care. All Taunton School International students are able to see a doctor or a nurse if they are feeling unwell. All of the staff at Taunton School International are also first aid trained.

Keeping in touch with home is important for pupils and families and staff ensure that appropriate contact is maintained via telephone and email access, using the excellent IT facilities of Taunton School.

Students are given email and internet access and emergency contact details are issued to both students and parents.
