Junior - Boarding & Pastoral

Junior Summer School pupils live in newly refurbished boarding houses on the beautiful rural campus of Taunton School International Middle School.  Dormitories are small and well equipped with experienced house staff taking care of them 24 hours a day.

We provide a supportive and caring environment and keep pupils busy with a full leisure programme offering evening activities and weekend excursions, leaving no time to miss home!

Food

The school provides three hot meals a day with lunch in the Taunton School Dining Room and breakfast and supper served in 'The Orangery' - a light and airy dining complex at the Middle School.  The food is offered as a buffet selection and includes plenty of choice, fresh vegetables, fruit and desserts.  A variety of diets are catered for.

Medical

Taunton School International Middle School has its own medical facility which provides 24 hour medical care on site or in the main Health Centre at Taunton School.

All Junior Summer School pupils are able to see a nurse or doctor if they are feeling unwell.  In addition, all staff of Taunton School International are First Aid trained.

Keeping in Touch with Home

Keeping in touch with home is important for pupils and families and staff ensure that appropriate contact is maintained via telephone and email access, using the excellent IT facilities of the Taunton School International Middle School.

Students are given email and internet access and emergency contact details are issued to both students and parents.
