Introductory Course - Dates & Fees

The Introduction to British Boarding School course is a unique opportunity to combine an Academic English Summer School experience with a first hand view of the working life of a British Boarding School.

Students will have the opportunity to join some standard classes and activities alongside full time students of their age as well as undertake specialist academic subject tuition from British teachers.

Transfers

Transfers are included in the fees as long as students arrive and depart on our published dates. Members of staff meet students from the arrival hall. They wear a school polo shirt and they have a sign with the school’s name on it.

On departure the members of staff stay with the students until they go through to departures, or until the airline takes responsibility in the case of unaccompanied minors. We make every effort not to keep students waiting for long periods of times at the airport.

We provide transfers from Heathrow, Gatwick and Bristol Airports.

We can meet flights arriving between 06.00 and 18.00 on our arrival dates, and 08.00 and 20.00 on our departure dates.

Fees

£700 per week

Fees include tuition, teaching materials, JETSET examination, accommodation, food, laundry, activities, excursions and transfers from the airport.

Insurance

Before you arrive in the UK, we strongly recommend that you take out insurance for your own financial and personal security.

You can take out your own insurance or take out the International Student Policy offered by Endsleigh Insurance Services Limited which has been specially designed for overseas students studying in the UK.

NB. It is advisable to take out your student insurance at the time of booking your trip as cover will commence for pre-departure cancellation from the policy issue date. This will, therefore, provide cover should you have to cancel your course for an insured reason such as illness or serious accident preventing you from travelling.
