Introductory Course - Academic & Curriculum

The Taunton School Introduction to British Boarding School course is an excellent step in discovering what day to day life is actually like in a British boarding school.  The course takes place over a three week period during the third academic term for Taunton School and Taunton School Preparatory.  This provides the opportunity for students to observe, experience and participate in lessons, events and activities as they happen, giving an ideal introduction to life and learning in a British boarding school. 

There are three main academic elements to the course:

• Integrated lessons with Taunton School and Taunton School Preparatory students
• Specialist academic subject lessons provided by Taunton School and Taunton School Preparatory staff at the relevant level for the student
• Intensive academic English course leading to a JETSET examination.
