Taunton School International offers a very wide range of GCSE subjects on the 1 year intensive GCSE/Pre IB course covering a very full range of academic and vocational courses. Physical Education (PE) allows students the opportunity to study the history and social context of sport as well as learn the foundations of officiating, leading, coaching and participating in a number of sports. Students may choose sports for assessment with which they are familiar but they are also introduced to other challenging pursuits. For many, the Outdoor Recreation sports are new and exciting  and Taunton School International is pleased to offer both kayaking and rock climbing to the students on this course. Both activities are taught using the excellent facilities at Taunton School: the kayaking in one of the two swimming pools and the rock climbing on the newly refurbished and extended wall inside the large sports hall.
