A trip to Kilve on the North Somerset coast allowed students on the Combined Science GCSE course the opportunity to explore the geology of one of the UK's best examples of Jurassic rocks and fossils.  Braving one of the coldest days this year, Mr Morley took two trips, with students being able to observe fossils such as ammonites and reptile remains as well as appreciate the ancient sedimentary environment in which the shale and limestones were deposited.
